By uploading material to our FTP, environmentally resource intensive processes are being avoided. We therefore offer reduced rates for our normal 24 hour service of £85 per hour of recorded material.

Any work undertaken by Eco-Transcriptions is subject to the following Terms and Conditions. Eco-Transcriptions receives all requests for transcription services on the understanding that clients have read, understood and accepted the Terms and Conditions as follows:

• Pricing
  

Clients will be charged according to the current rates displayed on the ‘Calculator’ at www.ecotranscriptions.com at the time work is commissioned. (Please note, all rates stated are exclusive of VAT.) Eco-Transcriptions reserves the right to add additional charges for extra time required to transcribe poor sound recordings. Any extra charges will be agreed with clients prior to work commencing.

• Expenses

Clients will cover all costs involved in transporting material to Eco-Transcription’s office in London, such as postal or courier services.

• Payment Terms
  

Payments are to be made in full within ten days of receipt of invoice. Alternatively, payments can be made via Paypal at client’s request.

• Refunds
  

Payments for work completed in full by Eco-Transcriptions cannot be refunded.

• Amendments
  

Any errors made by Eco-Transcriptions will be amended free of charge, provided Clients alert Eco-Transcriptions within 48 hours of receipt of the transcribed material. Final proofreading and editing will remain the responsibility of the Client.

• Document Delivery
  

Completed transcripts will be delivered to clients by their preferred method: secure email transmission, Royal Mail post or uploaded to our FTP for clients to download.
Eco-Transcriptions will take every precaution to ensure that emails and attachments are free from viruses. However, Eco-Transcriptions cannot accept responsibility for damages caused by viruses and therefore Clients will be responsible for scanning all emails and attachments sent from Eco-Transcriptions.

• Confidentiality
  

Eco-Transcriptions believes that client confidentiality is of the utmost importance and will keep all information supplied by the client strictly confidential and will not disclose to any third parties.

Unless same day service is requested, completed transcripts will normally be returned to clients within 24 hours (format, quantity and quality of material depending).

In consultation with the client, EcoTranscriptions reserves the right to increase charges for material received with unreasonably poor sound quality.

All prices quoted are exclusive of VAT.

Transcription Service

Eco-Transcriptions is a UK based company working primarily with the film and tv industry. Our dedicated and experienced team of transcribers offers a fast and accurate transcription service. We also believe in doing everything we can to help save our planet and offer you the chance to play a part too by reducing your carbon footprint.

We offer reduced rates to clients who upload their files to our FTP for transcribing Upload This process avoids the use of couriers, postal services, paperwork and other environmentally resource intensive procedures.

If clients are unable to use our Upload service, raw material can be sent in the normal way to our London office for transcribing Contact Us. Eco-Transcriptions will help offset carbon emissions by arranging and paying for a tree to be planted in the UK by eForests. Clients will receive a tree planting certificate from eForests.
